Innovation North Showcase 2008
I am delighted to invite you to celebrate the Festival of Student Achievement at the VIP evening of this year's Innovation North Showcase.
The event will showcase the many talents and achievements of our final year students as they present projects in diverse and exciting areas including creative technologies, interactive media, games design, music, sound & performance and
computing. The work is the product of our stimulating environment, which nurtures ideas and creativity amongst our students.
This year, for the first time, the showcase will also celebrate the achievements of our postgraduate students whose work will be on display featuring outstanding developments in areas including creative technologies, digital imaging and music
technology.
There will be a buffet reception at the event and you will have the opportunity to meet students and staff and discuss the showcased work.
I am sure you will be impressed with the high quality of the projects on display and get a better understanding of how we guide, inspire and support students at Innovation North.
If you are unable to attend the VIP evening the event will be open for viewings from 10.00am until 4.00pm the same day. There will also be a further opportunity to view this work when it is exhibited from 12-17 May 2008 at our Innovation Showcase, Old Broadcasting House.
